Web Portal Help


 

Before your technicians can sign into the Tech Portal, you must register them. Follow the steps below.

1. Click on New User.
2. Enter the Employee ID as it is entered into the Emp. ID field in the Employee/Payroll Manager in Wintac for this technician. This is not case sensitive.
3. Enter a Password. The password must be at least 7 characters long and have one non-alphanumeric character (!, @, #, $...). The password is case sensitive.
4. Confirm the password by entering it again.
5. Enter the Email Address. This is the email address located in the Employee/Payroll Manager in Wintac for this technician.
6. Click Create User. You will get a message saying that the account has been successfully created. Click OK. Now you can log into the portal with the user you just created.
7. Repeat Steps 1-6 for each technician.

Note: If the technician forgets their password it can easily be reset in Wintac. First, open Wintac and locate the technicianís record. Then, from the file menu, select Reset Web Password. Once the password is reset, the technician must re-register for the portal following the steps above.
